Disassembly Integration into PP/DS

Basel, Switzerland - 25.05.2026

With the release of version 6.10, the integration of Disassembly Order functionality into PP/DS has become a practical reality. This enhancement offers real-time visibility into material availability throughout the disassembly line. By considering the capacities of individual work centers, the system can now accurately determine when specific materials will become available during the disassembly process.

The cut header allows for the definition of the continuous input required for ongoing goods issue, which is leveraged during the optimization run based on stock availability. This functionality allows the system to automatically consume stock as it progresses along the disassembly line. Likewise, the cut item facilitates the definition of continuous output and the specification of a time offset for goods receipt, ensuring that materials are added to stock at the appropriate time. Together, these features enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the disassembly process.

Disassembly Integration into PPDS 1

When a disassembly order is created, each operation linked to a cut is automatically assigned to a parallel sequence. This streamlines the disassembly process, ensuring timely and efficient execution of all operations while minimizing errors and enhancing overall productivity.

Disassembly Integration into PPDS 2

The integration of Disassembly Order functionality in version 6.10 marks a significant advancement, offering improved efficiency, accuracy, and greater visibility and control over materials and resources.
